Koontz Corporation Acquires 9.66-Acre Site to Develop The Elle Apartment Homes in Exclusive Far North Central San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO—March 26, 2025. San Antonio-based Koontz Corporation, an award-winning industry leader in the development and construction of commercial and multi-family properties throughout Texas for more than a quarter of a century, today announced it has acquired a prime 9.66-acre site in Far North San Antonio where it will develop a state-of-the-art multi-family community, The Elle Apartment Homes. The 305-unit luxury apartment community is designed to meet the growing demand for high-end living in the region.

The Elle Apartment Homes will be situated on one of the preeminent sites in North Central San Antonio between Blanco Road and Bitters Road. Many of the city’s highest-grossing retailers are located along or near this same frontage between Stone Oak Parkway and Northwest Military Drive, and a host of high-end residential subdivisions are located nearby.

The Elle will be a complex of four-story, mid-rise apartments encompassing 264,015 net rentable square feet. It will offer 305 one- and two- bedroom apartment homes with luxe appointments such as wood plank and ceramic tile flooring; kitchens featuring spacious kitchen islands, designer stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry and quartz countertops; garden-style baths; oversized walk-in closets, full-size washers and dryers; and private patios. The Elle will be a gated community where residents will enjoy covered parking, an inviting residence entertainment room, shuffleboard and an advanced fitness center, internet café with coffee bar, business center and conference room, resort-style swimming pool with large sundeck, outdoor grilling areas and dog park.

Koontz Corporation purchased the property from The Concordia Group, which was represented by Lee Jordan of Cavender & Hill Properties. Koontz Corporation represented itself in the sale. Development partners in The Elle Apartment Homes include Garcia + Associates, architects; Pape-Dawson, engineers; Casey Roy Design, interior design; and IBC Bank, financing.

The Elle Apartment Homes are slated to break ground in third quarter 2025, with completion projected for June 2027.
